Kinnari Raunak Karmarkar is the wife of Raunak Karmarkar, and the sister in law of famous businessman Naren Karmarkar. Kinnari was originally arranged to marry Naren, by Sunanda, who wasn't aware of his marriage to Ankita at the time. Raghu Bharat Jadhav from Mumbai Maharashtra and Dhanak Parekh from Surendranagar Gujarat are two individuals with contrasting personalities that operate on opposite sides of the law, but ultimately become tied by the strings of marriage, alliance, and love.

Raghu is a petty goon and Don of Maharashtra. Savitri Jadhav, his mother acts as the matriarch of their colony. Savitri wants her son to loot people so they can gain money and create a fearful reputation. Enter Dhanak, an aspiring IPS Officer that is working on the right side of the law. Raghu falls in love with Dhanak at first sight. Raghu forcefully marries Dhanak while keeping her family as hostages. Dhanak initially hates Raghu and his lawless life, but soon falls for him.

Savitri and Maya, Raghu's friends, try to create misunderstandings between Raghu and Dhanak but the two eventually sort things out.

When Raghu's father Bharat Jadhav who was thought to be dead comes back, the problems become riskier. Bharat acts as a terrorist agent along with his criminal friends and cause Dhanak to loose her job. Soon they also kidnapped her sister. Raghu comes to save her, but Bharat had already killed her and then blamed it on Raghu. As pressure builds on Raghu, he also begins to slowly believe that he was the killer of Dhanak's sister. Raghu was then arrested and sentenced to jail for 5 yrs.

After 5 years he comes back to see Dhanak and their son Raunak. Even though Dhanak madly loved Raghu, she asked him to stay away from them because she could not forgive him so easily for her sister's death.

Akshay, Dhanak's boss and also a friend, tried many times to separate Raghu and Dhanak forever. However, Raghu ultimately became the top successful businessman of Mumbai through his company 'RJ Industries'. Akshay and Dhanak become his employees and were able to overcomes their many challenging experiences, while Dhanak and Raunak were also able to reunite with each other. Raghu's mother Savitri also became a good and loving mother in law to Dhanak.

At last Raghu and Dhanak were able to live happily together with their son Raunak.
